10-Day Money-Back Guarantee
You may return the leased hotspot device for any reason within 10 days of device delivery and receive a refund for:
- The monthly service payment
- The refundable device deposit (amount varies by service plan)
- The one-time setup fee
A $20 restocking fee will be deducted from all refunds.
Device Condition and Deposit Refund
The device deposit and setup fee will be refunded only if the device is returned in good condition, as determined at Plainspeed’s sole discretion. Damage includes, but is not limited to, physical damage, water exposure, tampering, or any condition that renders the device inoperable or unsuitable for reuse. If the device is deemed damaged, the deposit and setup fee will not be refunded.
Return Process
To qualify for a refund under the 10-Day Money-Back Guarantee, follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email support@plainspeed.com within 10 days of device delivery to initiate the return and receive return instructions and the shipping address.
- Prepare the Device: Package the device in its original packaging with all included accessories (cords, batteries, SIM card, etc.).
- Ship the Device: Returns must be sent via USPS, and have a tracking number to qualify for a refund. Email the tracking number to support@plainspeed.com to confirm the device is mailed within 10 days of delivery.
- Refund Processing: Upon receiving and inspecting the device, we will process your refund within 30 business days, though most refunds are issued the same day. The refund will include the monthly service payment, device deposit (if applicable), and setup fee (if applicable), minus the $20 restocking fee.
If the device is not mailed within 10 days of delivery or does not meet the return conditions, you will not be eligible for a refund.
